I thought that the neighborhood that I lived in was pretty safe, and I guess it was up until about a year ago. I live on the outskirts of Tampa in a very small town, and crime just never touched us here other than juvenile pranks here and there. When houses started getting robbed though, I knew that the feeling of safety was probably gone forever. I debated on whether to call ADT Security in Tampa FL to get an alarm system installed and activated or if I should get a dog to scare away potential burglars.
When I was talking to my mom about it, she asked me if I really wanted a dog to risk his or her life for me just in the interest of saving a few possessions. She had a point that I hadn’t even considered, so I decided to call the security company instead. When I explained why I was calling and what my budget was, the rep I was speaking with was able to go over all of my options with me. I knew that I could have a security system without the monitoring, but that seemed like I would be on the losing end of the battle with that setup.
I wanted to have someone come help me if I was unable to call for help myself. I was not expecting anything to happen to me, but I wanted the peace of mind that I had the protection should something happen regardless. They were able to come out and install the security system for me, and I have 24 hour monitoring seven days a week. I feel so much better having this security system in place, and my neighbor is even getting one now too. I hope that crime still doesn’t touch us, but we are ready if it does.
All That Remains Event on 2014-09-11 18:30:00 with Avatar, Like Monroe All That Remains have no choice but to be honest. Ever since their formation in 1998, theyve stayed true to themselves with each successive record. Theres no pretense. Theres no posturing. Theres no pandering. Their seventh full-length effort, A War You Cannot Win [Razor & Tie], is no exception. The Massachusetts quintetPhilip Labonte [vocals], Oli Herbert [guitar], Mike Martin [guitar], Jeanne Sagan [bass], and Jason Costa [drums]unabashedly unleash tight and taut heavy metal with arena-size hooks. Defying preconceived notions, the music is as genuine as it gets, and All That Remains wouldnt have it any other way. Going into A War You Cannot Win, the group didnt tinker with their process much. Beginning in early 2011, they commenced writing in a Massachusetts practice space together between touring for their last offering, For We Are Many. Coming off the road, the musicians hit the studio with longtime producer Adam D [The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage] to record. As they cut the albums twelve tracks, one paramount goal loomed. We just want to write good songs, admits Labonte. Were not trying to be the heaviest or most technical band in the world. Were not trying to write math problems. We aim for balance. Its not about pleasing anyone or fitting into a scene. For us, its always been about making music thats memorable and we would actually enjoy listening to it. Thats the big point. That point becomes proven tenfold on the anthemic first single, Stand Up. From the scorching lead to the propulsive beat, its an incendiary and infectious introduction to the record thats meant to be chanted along to.People can interpret it in many different ways, Labonte reveals of the song. Its a little abstract. This band has never been about one style of music though. Any creative ideas are fair game, and everybody has input. Weve always pushed the boundaries of what we are, and well continue to do so.At moments, A War You Cannot Win retreats […]
All reputable acupuncture providers use new needles for each session. New needles are the only way to ensure they are completely sterile. If you even think that needles are being reused, you need to leave immediately. It is not worth the risk and you can easily find a practitioner who uses clean needles. An acupuncture treatment leads, in many users’ experience, to a profound feeling of contentment. If you want to maintain those feelings of bliss, turn off your television and avoid other things that might overstimulate you. Acupuncture can help you clear your mind, making you feel much better. When your television is back on, you’ll once again be overwhelmed by stimuli. You have probably heard about acupuncture, but if you are like many people, you probably have no idea what it entails.
