Eating Better Changed My Life

I felt like I was at the end of my rope. I was single, but it was worse than that. I had never had a serious boyfriend, ever. I knew that it was probably because of my weight, and I vowed to change. The breaking point was when I was asked to be a bridesmaid in my cousin’s third wedding. She had found three men who wanted to marry her, and I couldn’t even find one who wanted to take me out to dinner. I found something online that said to click here for information on nutrition and exercise, so I did just that.

I knew that I needed to up my exercise, but I also had to understand nutrition a lot better too. I was overweight because I was overeating, but there had to be a reason for it. It did not take me long on that site to finally understand what was going on. I was eating too much food, but I was not getting the right nutrients. I was robbing my body of the things it needed to survive, which meant I was always feeling hungry.

I learned on this site which foods to eat, and I also learned which ones to avoid. I knew that potato chips and candy bars were no good for me, but they were so tasty that I kept going back for more when I had a craving. Well, I started eating the right foods, and those cravings went away. The first couple of weeks were hard, but it was smooth sailing after that. I actually had to buy a new bridesmaid’s dress because mine literally hung on me, it was that big. Even better than getting a new dress was having one of the groomsmen ask me out. I don’t know where this will go, but I know that I am going to enjoy life from now on!
